I work with my nutrition clients in an online and face to face capacity. Working as an online personal nutritionist allows me to work with clients on a global basis and I have clients all over Australia, Europe and the U.S. I see all of my online clients via Zoom as I find this is the best platform to share and read through documents and visually share flyers etc. However, I often also use telephone consultations if that is preferable. I find that working with my clients online allows me to provide the same level of individualised service I always provide to my face to face clients and the best online nutritionist will always use the technology available to their best advantage. It can be easy to share information as a nutritionist in a virtual environment.


As an online nutrition coach, I am looking to provide the same level of personal service I provide to my clinic clients. I have lab access in various countries so I am able to order relevant functional testing for clients in Australia, UK and the U.S. Testing includes gut, microbiome, hormones, genes, food allergy and sensitivity testing etc. I also have affiliation with supplement companies in different countries so I can provide an online ordering service for the specific nutrients you need. As an online weight loss coach, I am looking to the client to be proactive in tracking progress. My weight loss clients do their own weight and measure and I often ask them to take their own before and after photos on a regular basis. This allows us to fully track progress together even though we are 1000s of miles apart. Measurements and photos are often better than standing on a set of scales to track progress as muscle gain can cause the weight to go up despite fat loss and inches dropping off the waist measurement. As an online weight loss nutritionist, tracking progress and goal setting is an important part of any type of program. If you do not have a starting point and an end goal then it can be a challenge to keep focus. You need to know where you are going to get there! We work on manipulating macros and training programs to build muscle, and/or gain fat and generally bulk up the physique. Results can be assessed by regular body measurements and weight on scales.


I see many different types of athlete from all over the planet as an online sports nutritionist. I work with my athletes in a very holistic way. Many nutritionists and sports dieticians focus solely on macros and ignore issues such as iron deficiency, B12 deficiency, gut discomfort and bloating, food sensitivities, immune dysfunction, runner’s diarrhoea etc which can very much hamper an athlete from smashing their sporting goals. Online sports nutrition consultations allow me an hour to really work out what is going on with an athlete and we work together to work out the best nutrition plan for them. An online environment can be very efficient for case taking, assessing symptoms and establishing a long-term solution.

Feeling Great, Losing Weight!

I have been working with Fiona at Physical Nutrition for about 10 weeks through a corporate program run my employer.  Losing weight and making some real changes to my dietary lifestyle has been a game changer for me.  Through her weekly tutorials, Fiona has taught me about the food I eat, what is best for my body and to gauge how I feel after each meal.  Combined with a sensible exercise routine of walking and cycling, I have managed to drop my weight by 7kgs during this period.  My energy levels are up, I’m feeling fitter and I’m eating much more balanced meals and now know which foods to avoid and which to eat more of!  It’s been a great experience and I would highly recommend Fiona’s program.
